August 2010 - Celtic Catalysts announces expansion of UK facility.
2nd August 2010, Dublin, IRELAND. Celtic Catalysts, the specialty chemical manufacturer headquartered in Dublin Ireland, today announced the expansion of its scale-up and production facility in Wilton, UK. Due to be complete over the next 6 months, the expansion see a doubling of both the company’s workforce and facilities.
Commenting on the announcement, CEO Brian Kelly said “In a challenging economic environment in which the Pharmachem industry has seen numerous closures and consolidations, we are standing out from the crowd and bucking the trend. It is gratifying to be in such a position and it underlines the fact that our strong technology and products base and quality of service offering is subject to ever increasing customer demand”.

Celtic Catalysts was established in Ireland in 2000 with a mission to develop products and processes which underpin the manufacture of high-value products in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Fine Chemicals industries.
